Pura Vida is taken from the Costa Rican Culture. It's literal translation is "The Simple Life." It's probably the life that most of desire. It's easier said than done. Work schedules, commutes, stressful jobs, etc. It all adds up and the desire for simplicity may change to complexity.
We are an Art Training Program that is focused on providing fun and creative learning projects for a variety of mediums while giving back to the community and focusing on family. I can't simplify what we are about any easier.
Above this description is some of our values. To live our values, we have a few things to offer families during sessions:
1) Sharing Knowledge - We are offering classes for parents that teach you Art Projects you can share with your children/families.
2) Work Life / Balance - If you must take work home with you, we get it! Our studio is a relaxed atmosphere with charging stations and free high speed internet. (BTW - Companies need to change it to "Work/Life Integration" We all take home work and home to work. It's the world we live in and we are here to support your hard work and commitment to your family. Thank you for all you do!
3) We have extra chairs at the work stations. If you are a busy parent and want to play along or simply just be with your child then pull up a chair and enjoy. Regardless of the activity, the more we time we spend with our children, the better they behave when we aren't with them. We are here for you.
This is who we are and I prefer to share this than a list of fancy credentials or awards. We are formally trained in many Artistic mediums but more importantly, our goal is to always get better at everything we love to do and share what we have to help others.
